I’ve been a part of the inner workings of and photographing weddings since I was 14 years old and know them well. I’ve watched and learned from many photographers, business owners, artists, and storytellers. It’s my goal every wedding day to seek out quiet, unexpected moments. I work hard at (and am always seeking to learn and grow more!) combining and balancing the beautiful, artistic, capturing of raw, real emotions in a timeless authentic manner. While also loving delivering so many happy, smiling at the camera, timeless portraits to hang on your walls! I value family formals and making sure to get plenty that are as beautifully and carefully photographed as the rest of the day. Those photos of you gathered with the loved people, carefully chosen to be alongside you! While being involved and helpful when needed, I often step back and let the emotions of a quiet moment take over and photograph the scene as it plays out.

Photographing a wedding is so much more than the 8 to 12 hours of wedding day that I’m there taking pictures! I know it’s no simple thing to be the photographer that’s been chosen to photograph your day and value that trust highly. I like to set ourselves up for success and full understanding of each other by going out of my way to connect with and truly get to know you! By the time we’ve had multiple phone calls, met up, photographed you and put you at ease in front of my camera at an engagement session, interacted with you and your planner (if you have one! Photography related or not, I’ve been involved in more weddings than I can count and have a wealth of knowledge to offer, if you need it :)) about timeline and desires, gone over a detailed questionnaire (and more!), we have you completely set to have your wedding day captured in the best and least stressful way possible! I don’t take lightly how important it is to be trusted and hired to photograph weddings and strive to make it the best and most peaceful process.
