I don’t know if everyone in Venice schedules to do their laundry at the same time or not but laundry day was in full swing while I was there and I loved it. There’s something so lovely about crisp linens being pulled in from the line. (I would know, our dryer broke for two weeks once and we roughed it with a clothes line while we waited for the repair.) I like to imagine these hanging in a laundry room, giving a beautiful rest for your tired, laundry day eyes. And also, a nice reminder that despite the romance of clothes on a line, dryers are really a gift.

Printing and Framing—Artifact Uprising, Parabo Press, and Mpix are great companies for ordering high quality photo prints. I love to find frames at places like Ikea or Target. A favorite of mine is also to go to consignment or thrift stores and head right to the art/wall hanging section, there is an abundance of classic and beautiful frames! And each one is a little unique, it won’t look like you just went to the nearest frame section and grabbed them! There are so many great options.
